Roadwork will continue on State Street from 1st Avenue to 9th Avenue in multiple locations. SECON will be adding 6th Ave onward to 9th as they button up 1st Avenue to 6th with concrete.
Expect lane shifts along most of 1st through 9th Avenue as they continue finishing State Street removals and re-installation. Expect flagging operations with directions as removal and re-installation of storm pipe and structures happen. There will be a follow-up crew doing curb, gutter and sidewalk so watch for them and concrete trucks. Expect temporary road closures on side streets as well. Message boards will have more accurate information about which Avenues will be closed each day.
Expect delays and stay alert to new traffic patterns during this work. Please follow posted detours or use alternate routes. There will be no on-street parking within the work zone.
Please watch for traffic changes, heavy equipment, and construction workers when traveling through the work zone.
