Alternative Solid Waste Advisory Committee Member

The assembly unanimously passed the second reading of an ordinance to add an additional, alternate member to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.

The member would be able to participate in meetings, but would not have voting privileges unless if a board member was absent.

The alternate would not be able to take on the role of the president or vice-president if either were not present at the meeting, but they would be able to assume secretarial duties in the secretary’s presence.
